Hey Dala fans,
What a wonderful weekend of shows! On Friday we headlined Westfest in Ottawa, in front of an overwhelmingly large crowd of friendly faces. Nothing like a free outdoor show on a Summer’s evening to put people in a good mood:)
From there we drove to the picturesque town of Homer, NY, where we fell in love with the Center For The Arts. During one of our songs, a fire alarm went off at the volunteer fire department across the street. It sounded like that alarm from ‘Lost’ that would go off in the Hatch when someone forgot to type in the numbers. It was hilarious and the audience couldn’t have been better sports about it. We can’t wait to go back to Homer!
Our weekend adventure ended at the Dauphin County Music & Wine Festival on one of the hottest and most humid days we’ve ever experienced. The crowd were in great spirits, camped out on their lawn chairs with wine glasses in hand. It was a very classy way to cap off our weekend.
